Zoobic Safari

Our day 2 in Subic is for Zoobic Safari...We paid 500 pesos for the entrance fee including the tram ride and for tiger safari.... 500 pesos is really worth it... We spent almost 3 hours which is supposed to be 2 and a half hour... Zoobic Safari offers a lot of activities... Since we arrived early, we are the first visitors of the park. We failed to observe some of the attractions like tiger feeding, tiger show, Zipline (cost only 199 pesos cheaper than the zipline in Tagaytay) but still we feel that the tour was SULIT... We enjoyed a lot...

albino tiger
This tiger get mad and growl when one of my friends go jumping! ayaw pala nya ng magulo!!!
Cute baby tiger playing... looks like a giant cat, meow!!

The tour guide...
The tour guide, sobrang naiinip sya samin kasi ang tagal daw namin sa isang lugar kaya todo remind sya samin ng time and if didn't work, iniiwan nya kami :) buti nlng wala pang ibang guest...

Ostrich at the Sabana
Baboy ramo
Camel
Those animals are not in cage they roam freely. The tour guide told us kung anong laki daw ng ostrich e sing liit nman ng utak...But their kick can kill a tiger! lakas ah!

Fossil
Dating taguan ng mga weapons ng mga sundalo now a museum
At Aeta's trail
Left handed archer
This crocs is releasing heat in the body and it can stay in this position for 8-12 hours without moving
We have learned that subic safari also breeds the animals. During the tour we heard loud noise in some areas. The tour guide said it was the breeding place. They also breed greyhounds, sheeps and others... People can also buy from them...

Crown Peak Garden Hotels and Natural Spa

After having fun at Baloy Long Beach We Finally headed to our next stop in Olongapo, Again, kuya Neil was there to pick us up and send us to their sponsored accommodation for us... Yes it's FREE! San ka pa, hatid sundo na may free pang hotel... The couple is so generous and kind... Thanks kuya Neil and Ate Amie for the warmest welcome!!!

At Garnet Hotel, Here's a double deluxe room with 2 huge room inside... you have to pass through an aisle where bathroom is located to get to the next room... Simple, clean and comfy... This used to be the barracks of the american soldiers way back when the U.S Naval Base was still here in the Philippines... We're going to sleep and rest here for tomorrow's Subic safari adventure.

If you want to know about Crown Peak check this out : crownpeakgardenshotel.beachsubic.com

Here's our room

The 2nd room
Here's our food! tira pa nmin sa Baloy since sobrang dami ng fish fresh from the sea courtesy of our friend's father :) sobrang tipid talaga ng trip na to!!! This is what you called SULIT!

Just around the area, if you need something, here's the instant tindahan outside the hotel... Transportation is kinda difficult here no PUJ but there's mini bus from time to time which we thought is free of ride but it has 10 pesos charge per head if you want to go outside crown peak like Royal duty free subic or sm subic...

the main hotel and the only 1 who's not named after a gem
The swimming pool
And Allen
Just walking around and feeling good ;)

My unforgettable moment here at Crown Peak was when we saw a group of monkeys around the area but i failed to take a picture of them since were in a car... Medyo nakakahiya magpahinto since ang dami na nming free from the couple... And they said medyo naghahabol ang mga ungoy na yun or nambabato, they were there because they're looking for food... it's around 11 am...

Baloy Long Beach

Last day from work, our group was ready for an instant planned get away to Zambales. 6pm Feb.26,2012 out from work, Then we headed to SM Dasmarinas to eat dinner and buy some stuffs.10pm were already at Victory liner pasay city... Last trip was 11:30 pm. I made the payment good for 8 persons, luckily last 8 seats were left or else we'll be on the first trip at 2 in the morning... What's good about Victory Liner was once you ride their bus, you are insured and even your belongings. 25000 for you and 1500 for lost belongings, safe indeed... What other bus company offers the same benefits? I hope more company will go along with them...

2 in the morning we arrived at ulo ng gapo (Olongapo) the first thing we did was look for "Lugawan" it was ok but not as good as the Lugawan in Cavite... 3 am our friends' brother arrived and pick us up with his HI ACE van and we started looking for a beach resort to rest...We end up in Baloy Long beach the beach entrance is 30 pesos per head,  then we looked for rooms and haggle for prices. The famous accommodation in Baloy are Wild Orchid and Johan's. We looked for affordable ones :) ofcourse...

For only 1500 pesos per day good enough for 8 persons like us. We stayed from 5 am to 4pm. Very affordable and the owner also were very accommodating and kind... They helped us in our needs like lending cooking utensils, pot, pan and helped us make fire for our inihaw... The market also is just near by so 2 from our group went there to buy food (milk fish, tomatoes, onions, calamansi, eggplant etc and rice) Me and my BF was assigned in cooking and inihaw while the others are trying to get some sleep and rest... By the way they also have a little store just incase you forgot something you can buy if from them too.

The room is clean and complete with gas/stove, ref, t.v and air condition. Too good that they don't put limit on how many people will stay in this house...One of them also helped us clean the fish bait diba... And since we 've got a lot of fish aside from what we bought, the father of our friend who live in Olongapo sent us a lot of fish. There's bangus, yellow fin and samaral... Yummm!!! We share the other fish to the beach owner (the kind couple) and the boatman who helped us clean it.

Ok so here's the beach while waiting for the sun to rise...I love the scenery, the mountains and the cool breeze... The water is clear, the sands are fine but not white. Not that beautiful beach but it was nice...

Good Morning Baloy
Let's ready the food... Thanks kuya for helping us making a fire...It was perfectly cooked. Thumbs up to Allen my dear.

And here's my favorite part...Kumain! halatang mga gutom walang kibuan e...
Tara ng mag boating....By the way boat rental is 700 pesos but additional 300 in excess of 1 hour...and 20 pesos for island entrance...

parola

the old light house

white castle... remember the white castle whiskey commercial?
I've been here before about 10 yrs ago the beach hasn't change much but the area around it was now developed. The rooms before were made of nipa hut but today more hotels, bars and houses are build. The entrance fee was used to be 20 pesos for 10 yrs only 10 pesos was added...

HERE'S HOW TO GET THERE:

www.jaenbeachsubic.com/location.html

What's nice about JAEN is you can use their cottages for free once you avail their room. Unlike on other resort, you'll pay only for the room and use of cottages is a separate charge plus limited time to stay, in excess you have to pay additional charges...
