Last day from work, our group was ready for an instant planned get away to Zambales. 6pm Feb.26,2012 out from work, Then we headed to SM Dasmarinas to eat dinner and buy some stuffs.10pm were already at Victory liner pasay city... Last trip was 11:30 pm. I made the payment good for 8 persons, luckily last 8 seats were left or else we'll be on the first trip at 2 in the morning... What's good about Victory Liner was once you ride their bus, you are insured and even your belongings. 25000 for you and 1500 for lost belongings, safe indeed... What other bus company offers the same benefits? I hope more company will go along with them...
2 in the morning we arrived at ulo ng gapo (Olongapo) the first thing we did was look for "Lugawan" it was ok but not as good as the Lugawan in Cavite... 3 am our friends' brother arrived and pick us up with his HI ACE van and we started looking for a beach resort to rest...We end up in Baloy Long beach the beach entrance is 30 pesos per head, then we looked for rooms and haggle for prices. The famous accommodation in Baloy are Wild Orchid and Johan's. We looked for affordable ones :) ofcourse...
For only 1500 pesos per day good enough for 8 persons like us. We stayed from 5 am to 4pm. Very affordable and the owner also were very accommodating and kind... They helped us in our needs like lending cooking utensils, pot, pan and helped us make fire for our inihaw... The market also is just near by so 2 from our group went there to buy food (milk fish, tomatoes, onions, calamansi, eggplant etc and rice) Me and my BF was assigned in cooking and inihaw while the others are trying to get some sleep and rest... By the way they also have a little store just incase you forgot something you can buy if from them too.
The room is clean and complete with gas/stove, ref, t.v and air condition. Too good that they don't put limit on how many people will stay in this house...One of them also helped us clean the fish bait diba... And since we 've got a lot of fish aside from what we bought, the father of our friend who live in Olongapo sent us a lot of fish. There's bangus, yellow fin and samaral... Yummm!!! We share the other fish to the beach owner (the kind couple) and the boatman who helped us clean it.
Ok so here's the beach while waiting for the sun to rise...I love the scenery, the mountains and the cool breeze... The water is clear, the sands are fine but not white. Not that beautiful beach but it was nice...

What's nice about JAEN is you can use their cottages for free once you avail their room. Unlike on other resort, you'll pay only for the room and use of cottages is a separate charge plus limited time to stay, in excess you have to pay additional charges...
